3-5 Year Olds

 

A daily programme focusing on Motor skills, Agility, Balance and Co-Ordination with the use of a football.

Ball Mastery: Building confidence in children to become comfortable using the football with all parts of the body.

Each day we will concentrate on each child improving their skills through dribbling and trying new tricks shown by the coaches, also develop their motor skills through a series of rolling, tumbling and falling without fear.

 

6-12 Year Olds

 

A Daily programme focusing on different skills each day through functional practices, phases of play and small sided games

 

Monday:

 

Dazzling Dribbling:

1. Technique development and manoeuvres to beat players

2. Where and when to dribble in phases of play

3. Dribbling in small sided conditioned games

 

Tuesday:

 

Perfect Passing:

1. Passing drills to improve Accuracy, weight, timing and control

2. Passing in game situations working on Angles and Distant of support (3v1 and 4v2)

3. Passing in small sided conditioned games

 

 

Wednesday:

 

Shooting:

 

1. Shooting stars

 

2. Technique in Volleying

 

3. Conditioned games to create shooting opportunities

 

Thursday:

Heading, Shielding and control

 

1. Technique in heading unopposed drills to give players confidence

 

2. Head Tennis

 

3. Technique in first touch and control

 

4. How to shield the ball from opponents

 

Friday:

 

Fans Favourites, Best games from the week chosen by the participants

 

Each day will build up from small practices in the morning and finish off in the afternoon with fun small sided games and mini tournaments.

 

All coaches are fully qualified through the Football Association of Ireland, UEFA and the NSCAA
